The POCUS Atlas
Our faculty and fellowship alumni include co-founders, editors, content developers for one of the most highly-utilized Ultrasound Education websites in the world. Our fellows have unique opportunities to learn about educational design, web design, app development, and everything else under the hood of this ACEP Educational Innovations Award Winning platform.
Nerve block App
Our team helped build the high-impact iOS and Android “Nerve Block App” to help providers determine “What Block?” This app utilizes fundamental design-thinking principles, centered on provider needs and expectations to rapidly assist in performing regional anesthesia at the bedside.
The POCUS App
Through collaborations with The POCUS Atlas and other partners, we developed the first “POCUS App” with emphasis on mobile and iOS needs. This app was particularly designed for remote and global health applications allowing offline archival and storage for remote educational needs.
Ultrasound Box
Our faculty and fellows are main contributors to UltrasoundBox: an interactive case based platform that empowers users of all levels to master the skill of interpreting ultrasound images that are taken from real clinical cases. The goal is to provide case-based, interactive ultrasound education to all learners.
Denver Health Nerve Block Atlas
We created the UI forward, Nerve Block Atlas to provide regional anesthesia education tailored towards point-of-care users. Like all of our projects, design principles were prioritized to meet the needs of acute care providers learning bedside practice and technique for regional anesthesia.
